· This is the third book in Joanna Shupe’s Wicked Deceptions series. Kensington sent me all three books at once and I devoured them like my roommate’s brioche rolls (she needs to take these things away from me). Her heroines are strong, her dudes are a little dim (but they get better), and her plots are lots of fun. The Lady Hellion – Deleted Scene 2. Lord MacLean was a character that got away from me in THE LADY HELLION. I loved his banter with Sophie, and the friendship (non-romantic) that sprung between them. However, we couldn’t have another swoon-worthy man showing up Quint, so many of the MacLean scenes had to be cut. Damien Beecham, Viscount Quint, aka “Quint” Age: 33; Hair: Brown; Eyes: Brown; Residence: London; Martial status: Single; Favorite things: Philosophy, puzzles.

Lady Sophie Barnes needs the assistance of Damien Beecham, Viscount Quint—specifically, she needs him to serve as her second in a duel. Though he initially refuses, Sophie is persistent.
Praise for The Lady Hellion “Shupe is very talented, walking a fine line between Quint’s demons and Sophie’s charming, almost madcap character. These two sparkle in this wildly entertaining story.” — New York Times bestselling author Sarah MacLean for The Washington Post.
