I have not yet re-read this book on my Kindle so I have no knowledge as to how well it has been transfer. However I read Gentian Hill many years ago and enjoyed it. It has all Elizabeth Goudge's usual style which will appeal to many but perhaps not to all readers of today. She is a good story-teller and that counts for a lot.
