It is this choice that saves him from committing suicide. MILES TO GO -- Alan's walking away from a destroyed life and saving himself and many others along the way. It's a wonderful novel. Richard Paul Evans has the ability to grasp your heart and mind - then propel your spirit into the characters. His novels are easy to read and the storylines are easy to follow.
